Your daily free balance resets to 5 at 00:00 UTC, shared across all tools. Unused daily credits expire at reset; they do not roll over.
With 5 daily credits, you can run Fast · Preview on 1 image (3 credits), leaving 2 credits. Because each Fast · Preview run costs 3 credits, the remaining 2 credits cannot start a second run.

Credit reservation and failures
Credits are reserved when processing starts. If a job fails, reserved credits that are still valid return to your balance. Expired daily credits do not carry over.
Purchased credits do not expire and are shared across background tools. Checkout uses USD; any applicable tax is shown before payment. Credit packages are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal.
The Bulk Background Remover can hold 20 images in its queue, but each image uses credits. Queue capacity does not increase your daily allowance.
