Choose a clear source image
Use JPG, PNG, or WebP up to 10 MB and 40 megapixels per image. You can select files from your device, drop them on a tool page, or paste an image from your clipboard. A sharper source image usually makes fine edges easier to inspect.
Why does my PNG look white or black?
Some image viewers and apps display transparent areas against a default solid white or black canvas. Open your PNG file against a dark or checkerboard background to inspect it. Always export as PNG; the JPG format cannot store transparent pixels.
Fix a small detail with erase and restore brushes
After processing a single image, use Erase to remove leftover background. Restore copies pixels from the original image and may also bring back its background. Undo returns to the previous brush edit. Check lettering and fine edges before downloading. Brushes are unavailable in bulk mode.
Change the background
White Background starts with a white fill. Background Changer also lets you upload your own background image. In Background Changer, use the Subject size, Horizontal position, and Vertical position sliders to adjust the composition before exporting.
Focus on a logo or signature
Use Crop on the Logo Background Remover or Signature Background Remover before processing. Drag the crop box or use numeric controls, then Apply. Leave a little space around thin strokes and letterforms so they remain inside the selected area.
Work with several images
Bulk Background Remover accepts up to 20 images in one queue, with a separate status for each. Each image uses credits; the daily 5-credit allowance covers one Fast · Preview image. Review completed results and download them individually or as a ZIP. Retry a failed item only when you have enough available credits.
Understand your allowance
Get 5 free credits each UTC day, shared across tools. The free allowance resets to 5 at 00:00 UTC; unused credits do not roll over. Fast · Preview costs 3 credits per image. If a job fails, reserved credits that are still valid return to your balance. Downloads of completed results use no extra credits. See Pricing for details.
Find your image again
Your working draft is saved in this browser so you can return to it. Clearing site data or browser storage can remove local drafts. Keep original copies of your files on your device.
